Georgia Official Refuses Bible, Swears Oath of Office on ‘Autobiography of Malcolm X’

To say the ideologies of progressive Democrats are more driven by popular culture and fake news than knowledge might be something of an understatement. The extreme left calls for religious tolerance and economic justice while pushing policies that result in anti-Christian bias and inequality. Either they don’t understand or just haven’t put the time and effort into reading sources of knowledge.

In this video, The Western Journal takes a long look at a young progressive Democrat who narrowly won office in Athens, Georgia. When 26-year-old Mariah Parker was elected Commission for District 2 in Athens, she chose not to place her hand on the Bible and swear her oath of office.

She also rejected the U.S. Constitution as a binding document to make her promise upon. That may seem strange, given the fact that public office includes upholding the Constitution. The upstart politician decided to use a non-traditional book and that choice speaks volumes about how little liberal extremists know about tolerance and equality.

Parker, who ran on a platform for “bold racial and economic justice,” must not have taken the time to read the Gospel or get a Christian education. As The Western Journal points out, Jesus and the Bible are the greatest teachers about racial equality, tolerance and justice.

Take a few moments and check out this segment to find out just how misguided anti-Christians like Mariah Parker really are!
