Haitian Official Asks Hillary Where All the Clinton Foundation Donations for Haiti Went

It’s hardly news that the Clinton Foundation is suspect, but the Haitian criticism is easily the most severe.

While it is difficult to confirm or dismiss the claim that only two percent of funds have reached Haiti, it is clear that the funds have been grossly mismanaged. Many reports, even from Clinton supporters, show that millions of dollars have failed to reach Haiti relief efforts.

Keep in mind, the earthquake struck six years ago. Everyone has had plenty of time to strategize and put the money to work. Instead, a major hospital valued somewhere between $87 million and $100 million is on indefinite hiatus, hundreds of farmers have been relocated for industrial plants that aren’t operating and the already desperate financial conditions of Haiti continue to worsen.

The most damning evidence is the University Hospital in Mirebalais. It was built from the ground up and opened in 2013. What was the source of its success? None of the funding touched the Clinton Foundation.

All of this falls short of Clinton’s infamous actions regarding Haitian politics. A leaked email showed how Clinton and her staff rigged an election to put Martelly, the most recent president, in power. His presidency was rife with corruption, and he left the office after indefinitely suspending elections, leaving the country without a successor.
