Lying Democratic Congress Woman Plays Victim Card

At a contentious voter forum at Florida State College at Jacksonville, federally indicted Congresswoman Corinne Brown, a 12-term Democrat from the 5th district in northeast Florida, attempted to defend herself in front of her election opponents and constituents, despite being charged with 24 counts of fraud and conspiracy relating to her nonprofit charity, the One Door for Education Foundation.

The fake charity, which Brown ostensibly set up to provide scholarships to underprivileged students, has been accused of being a personal slush fund for the Congresswoman and her associates. She claims that 1000 laptops that she allegedly provided to needy children in several locations were not funded by the charity.

Speaking loudly to the forum’s audience, a visibly angry Brown insisted, “I’ve done the best I d*** could” and threw her microphone down in disgust. Later, in a post-forum interview, Brown called the charges “a witch hunt, and I am the person they’re hunting.” Brown faces rivals Al Lawson and LaShonda Holloway in her district’s Democratic primary election on August 30.
