Sheriff Clarke: Democrats Refuse to Talk about American Ghettos

Understanding the ghetto is tough, but recognizing that ghettos have increased violence is pretty easy. The liberal agenda always suggests that more government intervention is the only solution, but a few important statistics speak otherwise.

Specifically, gun laws, in spite of their intentions, have not helped the most dangerous cities in America. Detroit, New Orleans, Baltimore and St. Louis aren’t just the most dangerous cities in the U.S. They rank among the most dangerous cities in the entire world. In all four cases, a combination of harsh gun laws and increased police scrutiny have led to skyrocketing murder rates since 2014.

The saddest part is that the bulk of the blood spilled is in black communities. In their efforts to “protect black lives”, liberals pushing their agendas have created situations that produced the most black murders in decades.

How can the situation be remedied? Abandon the victim narrative and empower people to change their own status. The tools are there, but the status quo cannot change unless the government stops holding these people down with “well-meaning” discrimination.
