The Rot within the Department of Justice

“Though they intended evil against You and devised a plot, they will not succeed.” (Psalm 21:11)

America has been on a long downhill slide away from her Christian roots. There is nowhere that this is more apparent than in the US Department of Justice. This department is tasked with upholding and enforcing the laws of the land, and yet it has repeatedly proven itself in recent months to be staffed by a pack of liars and thieves who are willing to say and do anything to undermine a sitting president. As evidence of this assertion, Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn is reportedly close to withdrawing his guilty plea.

Flynn served as National Security Advisor to President Trump for just 24 days before he was charged with lying to FBI investigators and then fired from his position. Now there is strong evidence that Flynn may have been set up. Bear with us, because there are several dots to connect in this story and the Deep State operating within the federal government weaves a very tangled web.

Flynn’s trial was assigned to federal Judge Emmett Sullivan. The judge promptly ordered federal prosecutors to turn over all exculpatory evidence to Flynn’s attorney. Exculpatory evidence is any proof that prosecutors are sitting on which could help Flynn’s defense team during the trial.

According to independent journalist Mike Cernovich, the exculpatory evidence is now missing and there is a mad scramble going on inside the Department of Justice. Peter Strzok, the anti-Trump FBI agent who texted his mistress to let her know that he could smell Trump supporters at WalMart, was the agent who interviewed Flynn. Strzok filed an FBI FD-302 form of the interview. (An FD-302 is an official summary of an FBI interview which may be used as evidence in a trial.) Mike Cernovich reports that former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe altered Strzok’s FD-302 form and then deleted all of the history of revisions.

Every revision to the FD-302 of Flynn’s interview was exculpatory evidence. It’s gone, according to Cernovich, so now the federal case against Flynn looks extremely shaky. Was the FD-302 altered to coerce a guilty plea out of General Flynn? Who knows? But even a free public defender could have a field day with this case.

Why was Judge Sullivan’s first demand for prosecutors to turn over the exculpatory evidence? Because Sullivan is very familiar with the dirty tactics of DOJ prosecutors, especially in the Washington, DC district, as well as the dirty tactics of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Back in 2008, when Mueller was FBI Director, he signed off on a federal raid of former Sen. Ted Stevens’ (R-AK) home in Girdwood, Alaska. (A strongarm tactic Mueller repeated with Paul Manafort.) Stevens was charged with taking inappropriate gifts from a friend — renovations to his cabin — and not reporting them as a political donation. It was portrayed by the FBI and federal prosecutors as a major bribery case.

The raid on Sen. Stevens’ home took place just three months before the 2008 election. Stevens was found “guilty” at trial and lost the 2008 election by the narrowest of margins to a Democrat in one of the reddest states in the union. (A few months later, the Democrats would ram Obamacare through the Senate by a single vote, which would have been impossible if Stevens were still in office.)

A few months later, Judge Sullivan learned that prosecutors hid exculpatory evidence which could have been used at trial to exonerate Sen. Stevens. Judge Sullivan was livid. The two prosecutors were suspended for one of the worst cases of prosecutorial misconduct in American history. They destroyed the career of a Republican Senator and gave America the gift of Obamacare — and a DOJ review board later cleared the two prosecutors of misconduct!

Andrew McCabe, by the way, will retire next month and has $1.8 million in retirement pension coming his way, courtesy of the American taxpayers, according to Gateway Pundit. Is there anyone left to bring any of these people to justice?

If the FBI and the DOJ are perfectly comfortable altering interview reports, coercing false guilty pleas out of suspects, lying to judges and hiding evidence at trial when the suspect is the National Security Advisor, what hope does the average American have of prevailing if the feds decide to come after them?

There needs to be a major purge at the FBI and the DOJ. The problem is, who would we replace them all with?
